At Breakfree Society, we support vulnerable adults and their immediate needs.
We at Breakfree Society can help you.
We are a domestic abuse and sexual violence team working across Dewsbury and surrounding areas. We support women, men who are survivors of domestic abuse/violence.
Many men and women will have no access to phones, social media or other digital platforms and are unable to find access safe spaces or time to talk.
We are here to help you and listen to you.
We work very closely with many third- party agencies to make your journey easy.

We speak English, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Mirpuri and Pothwari.
- Empowering victims/survivors by taking positive action.
- Emotional support following a culturally safe and confidential environment.
- Support offered Practical support and guidance in seeking support from agencies in the councils.
- Safety planning (how to stay or leave safely) and referral to MARAC. Support contacting the police and reporting incidents.
- Liaising with local immigration services for women who have no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
- Information and advice on the rights and entitlements to help empower women and their families experiencing domestic violence.
- Resettlement for women fleeing domestic abuse and assisting in seeking temporary or refuge accommodation.
